Shetland Lace: A Heritage Craft – 6th June UK BST

The Heritage Craft Association of the UK has published its Red List of Crafts for 2025. Shetland Lace is one of the endangered crafts on that list. Join me as I talk all about Shetland lace and delve into the history and what is happening now.

Elizabeth, a born and bred Shetlander, is continuing the traditional methods of knitting Shetland lace. She comes from generations of Shetland Lace knitters.
