Growing up in Shetland I lived near the Giants Grave, two standing stones. They always reminded me of the long history of people in Shetland.
Inspired by the everyday Shetland Hap that women always wore to go about their chores and I wanted to create a modern chunky shawl that would wrap around keeping you warm.
This crescent shawl is knitted on a garter base with sections of lace.
