In this 5-week online workshop, you will be taken through the basic stitches and techniques of Shetland lace knitting to make a mini Shetland lace hap. Each class is 1 hour in length.
Week one – Traditional Shetland Haps and their construction.
How to knit the lace edge
Week two – How to pick up and knit a hap board
How to knit the centre panel
Week three – How to Betsy join the second board to the centre panel.
Week four – How to pick up the side stitches of the centre panel and Betsy Join the third board.
Week five – How to Betsy join the mitre corners and dress your mini hap
