In this 90 minute online workshop, you will be taken through the Betsy Join step by step.
The Betsy join is a technique whereby two pieces of knitting can be joined together to create a decorative invisible join. It can be used when knitting traditional Shetland Haps and shawls.
This workshop is suitable for an Intermediate skill level. It would be an advantage if participants had a little experience in lace knitting.
Written instructions will be provided.
For the workshop, you will need: size 4mm needles and lace weight yarn preferably in a light colour to make the stitches more easily seen and a darning needle.
Before the class you will be sent instructions for making three separate pieces of knitting ready to join together.
