The Vaa shawl features the traditional Shetland lace pattern of the horseshoe. It is knitted as a rectangle in the flat and then joined in a mobius loop. This creates a beautiful and elegant shawl, which can be worn in a variety of ways.
As in the traditional Shetland way it is knitted on a garter base so there is no right or wrong sides when wearing this shawl.
It would make the perfect Wedding shawl or one to wear on a summers evening.
