Shetland Lace Flags

£5.00

These little Shetland Lace Flags were created for my class at Shetland Wool Week 2024.

They are 17cm long and 15cm wide at the top.

Each flag uses about 3.5g/25m of yarn. For all 10 flags you would need 2 balls of the lace weight yarn or about 35g of yarn in total.

They each feature a traditional Shetland lace pattern. They range from easy beginner patterns like the Cat’s paw to more difficult ones like the spider pattern.

They are a great way to try out Shetland lace patterns starting easy and taking you to harder ones.

Along the top are a row of yarns over holes which then can be used to thread through either a ribbon or I crochet a single chain of the yarn used to hang them up.

Charted instructions.
